If you’re in or around Orlando, Florida at this time of the year, you’d be missing out big time if you don’t seize that opportunity to tour the golden beaches in the area. Now, as you may or may not know, Orlando itself doesn’t have any beaches, be that freshwater or saltwater. What the location does have, however, is perfect proximity to some of the best beaches and water-based exercises in the United States, if not the world!

The Top 4 Must-See Beach Trips Near Orlando Right Now

I demand quite a lot from any beach I intend to use. For me, the perfect beach experience should have nice weather (obviously!), a ton of activities to enjoy, ready accessibility, and tons of other features. I looked around for a while and the top spots that met these criteria.

#1: Clearwater Beach Day Trip

Who says “No” to a chance to go deep-sea fishing and relax in the warming sun?

Certainly not this gal!

The Clearwater Beach Day Trip takes you about 2 hours from Orlando, so it’s not so far out to be inconvenient if you’re determined to have a little fun. My two favorite things about this place are the fact that both adults and kids can find lots of safe and equally engaging things to do. Also, the various themes at the beach are super vivid and allow for a more relaxing and immersive experience.

#2: Clearwater Beach Dolphin Speedboat Adventure

The Clearwater Beach Dolphin Speedboat Adventure experience lets you also explore this popular family-friendly spot. The only difference is it lets you do so with maximum comfort. Case in point, on this package, you won’t have to bother about the details of getting yourself to and from this location as your guide will have done all of that for you. You also get to lunch at a scenic seaside restaurant in style. There are also lots of other great activities packed in here.

#3: Orlando Theme Park Area to Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach

For those more focused on seeing the beach as a family, the Orlando Theme Park Area to Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach route is certainly the way to go. I especially recommend it if you’ve got a little one in the mix. This is because, provided you give them a heads-up well in advance, they can usually make amenities like child seats available for you.

You’ve also got lots of flexibility with this trip as you can take advantage of flexible drop off points at Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral.

#4: Orlando Deep Sea Fishing Charter

The Orlando Deep Sea Fishing Charter is just perfect for the fishing enthusiast. This 9-hour experience puts you on a vessel with all the fishing equipment and safety gear you could possibly need to explore the North Atlantic Ocean! And, before you think it, don’t worry; this activity is completely legal as it comes with a Florida Fishing license as well. You also have access to free sun protection and other perks.

For those who’d like to go hardcore fishing, this is the best way to do it in Orlando!

There are lots more fun activities to try out in the city.

See a couple of them here.
